Love all these photos

Some wonderful video! Baby was running pretty fast in these runs. Sorry the video is so long, but this is the only copies I keep of my runs, so I put them in the one video.
What can I say… Baby was HOT - she was onFIRE! The first run of the day (gamblers) caught me quite off guard, she just turned it on and left me in the dust. Wow. I dont know if it was being worked (which I usually dont do) by two of my students last week, or playing with me, hope to duplicate that. She was on like she was in the 2007 AKC Nationals… box that! :) Anyway, we wound up with a first place in gamblers, two snooker super Qs, one being a first but I dont remember the other. We took a 5th in steeplechase and went to round two where we came in second by 2 100ths of a second :( my fault. We had a blazing jumpers but one bar made us give up first place. Oh! and we finally got that missing grand prix q to qualify us for nationals… so we are all set. I will post video as soon as my life smooths (so dont hold your breath)

I know it late! Better than not at all.
This was a great trial for Baby and I. We ran very well together and both the errors done, were mine! So, I guess one cant complain. She is such an awesome dog, I am glad that I have her. Its just not very often that we run across things that we dont know how to do or skills that we dont have. Its a great feeling. Enjoy!
What a weekend! Baby was sound for the first time in a month or so! We were able to hit the field as a team and we did well. We played in a limited amount of classes so that we did not have to play in the morning. Our grand prix that we needed was blown to a dogwalk contact. Oh!!!!! The cool thing is that we ran across a standard course that I really had to think about how I was going to run it. I loved it! It has been a long time since I have come across a course that really challenged Baby and I. It was soo awesome. The whole weekend of courses really challenged us (even the starter courses with Ice were great). I have a whole bunch of new ideas. Baby and I qualified in the standard with a third place…. I was thrilled. Only 6 people qualified I think with it.
We also got - are you ready for this? Our Snooker Champion Title! That is so ironic dont you think? That we would get such a high title in a game that we have liked the least our entire career. The really funny part is on Sunday we missed out on a super Q by one second. The dog that took the last super q was 1 second faster than us with the same amount of points. Now thats funny! We bust our butts to get the super qs and one almost falls into my lap without trying! lol

Great time! We had a great time! We had not done AKC for a while so being able to spent time with my AKC students was pretty cool. The courses for the weekend were very challenging and I am happy to say that all FAAD rose to the challenge. Baby and I qualified in our Excellent FAST on Friday and Saturday. On Friday 4 dogs qualified out of 36 and on Saturday 5 dogs qualified out of 36. She got the second highest points of any dog(all heights) and the fastest times both days - she placed 1st both days. Sunday she got the distance challenge but I rushed her and she took the bar down on the double (which was part of the challenge). Bummer. Friday we qualified in Jumpers with a first place (we never do that!). Saturday we qualified in jumpers (no placement) and Sunday we qualified in Standard with a second place (Baby wasted time on the table which took away our first place) :( No double Qs, but a great showing.
Baby is still not sound. She was limping all weekend but still wanted to play. I know you may think that wasnt a good idea to run since she was hurt, but I really feel she wanted to play. People watching agreed that I made the right decision because she really wanted to play,. Saturday morning Jim DeKeiffer gave her a massage and couldnt find any reason for the limp. I will be trying accupuncture next for her and Rush.
Our annual trip was a success! We had a great seminar - yes, I was the presenter, but it still went well (at least they told me they liked it) :) Baby dog was a star again (if only in my eyes). Karalee sets up a distance challenge at the end of the seminar. This year we had it with a BBQ, thats was cool. Ginny and Muligan couldnt be there but Jeanne and Gypsy were up for the challenge and joined us. It was some tough stuff! We were up for it too though and Baby, even with her injured leg loved the play. I ran Ice as well and he actually amazed me with his distance work. Not a problem he said, I can do whatever my sister can do! LOL. We had a great time and are already looking forward to next year.
