After a slow growth week last week, she’s picked up the pace and is now 24lbs!

Big break through today! Made a run to town for dog food.. Rush whined the first 15 minutes and then was quiet the remaining trip (about 1 hour 10 minutes). Baby and Ice were there as well as my son (the two-legged brother). Usually Rush will cry the entire trip. I have not been able to do any long trips (8 hours and more) like we were able to do with Ice. So I believe this is why this problem is still in existence. All our trips have been short, 20 minutes, 10 to the school etc. So if she cries, then the trip ends - in her mind. But today I was able to do a longer one, and she just got quiet. I told Kohl, “hey, shes quiet” and he said “yeah, right now” :) poor guy has had to listen to her cry all the time coming back from school. Anyway, I am thrilled…

Our trick of the week is turn your head. She is doing quite well. She has chosen to turn to the right (same as Ice), although we dont have a name to it yet, she does it quite consistently, well, right after the head down doesnt work!

Rush now weighs 21.6 pounds and growing like a weed.

Rollover training before she came to us

In this video, Rush’s breeder Michelle is training her to roll over. She was probably 6 weeks old at this point.

Rush is weighing in at 27 pounds this week. She is pretty big. At night I can no longer tell her apart from

Ice when they are laying on the bed. :)
