Rush is not seeming to feel herself while in heat… but - her running is getting awesome!  This little dog can cover some ground!  Yesterday I added the “around” to a tree (both left and right).  I hold her collar and rev her up then let her go with an “around” - if she is on my right she goes around the tree to the left, if on my left she goes around the tree to her right. It only took one time of showing her and she had it.  I then got smart and asked her to go around the island in our front yard - its pretty wide and you cant see around it (I will send a photo), anyway that only took one time as well and she was sailing around the right side.  The left side needed more help, but even that she got by the second time.

Today after the tree work I took her back to the island and we did “around” to the left and she did awesome, but when I asked her to do it a second time a little rabbit hopped inside the island and that was it.  She couldnt think past her nose to go around she kept looking for the little rabbit.

Raindow has been found!  YES!  I have been bugging the heck out of Michelle for photos of any missing littermates and she just didnt have anything - then out of the blue Rainbow emails her and we have photos!!!!  So here are some of the litter updates.

Big surprise! She weighs the same! LOL. Actually the real news is that Rush has gone into heat (yesterday). I had just thought I needed to think about making her spay appointment because she will be 11 months. I wanted to wait until she was a year, its always a crap shoot as to whether you have 3 months or 10 months once you get them, I had hoped for one more month. But thats okay, I am not going to worry about it. We will take care of it once she is out of heat. Unfortunately she cant play with Rip anymore. But neither dog really cares, and so far it has not turned any of the boys into idiots. Even Ice doesnt care (but why would he, he gets to hang with her still). She just cant go to class and has to have special trips out with the girls and Ice. A trip to the doggie pantie store is in order.

Yep! Another service Ms. Rush offers, chasing down offending water drops. Shes very good at it - will take that nozzle straight on if she has to fending off the enemy! Of course, I dont know who will save her when she has to hit the shower.
Her and brother Ice had a great time running through the mud (well, mud now) chasing the hose as I watered down the agility arena. Luckily, the smoothies are a “shake and go” coat! In 5 minutes we are back to normal.
